Diamond Fingers is a horror novel coming out in late 2023. For this jacket, they were looking for that psychedelic and horror blend, so I chose colors that could convey both along with the imagery of a solo hand. This was paired with a custom designed font title that could hold a classic horror look but appear modern. Read more about Diamond Fingers below:

“When a professional hockey player just coming out of his rookie years, tears his ACL, his resulting decision to fly home to the Dominican Republic seals his fate. After the plane that he is on gruesomely collides with another, he must survive on what little supplies remain on the defunct aircraft, all while inhabiting a space still occupied by the corpses of his fellow passengers. Living day-by-day injured, disoriented, and completely isolated, his reality shrinks and stretches before his very eyes. In the advent of his return, he continues to question himself, as evidence of what may have happened in isolation contradicts his memories. Diamond Fingers explores not only the horror of isolation survival, but of a simultaneous struggle with identity and self-deception.”
